Q: Do I need to get approval before I paint my house?

A: Yes. Please use the Project Approval Form to inform the Board of intent to paint the house along with the paint color. Not all colors are allowed in our community.

Q: How many bushes/trees am I required to have in my landscaping?

A: Section 7.20 of the covenants state:

Within one year after occupancy of a residence on a Lot, the Owner thereof shall plant (i) a minimum of twelve (12) shrubs or bushes in the front landscaping bed, and (ii) a minimum of two (2) trees having a diameter of two (2) inches or more, with at least one (1) of said trees in the front lawn.

Note: Annual flowers do not count toward these requirements.

Q: How do I get a key for the pool?

A: Usage of the pool is for Sawmill Creek residents only and your account with HOA Management Services needs to be in good standing. If you need a key please contact April Casey at acasey@homeownermgnt.com and she will start the process of getting you one.

Q: What are the pool hours?

A: The pool hours run from 8:00am to 10:00pm. Keys are only operational during those times. The pool season runs from around Memorial Day through around Labor Day. Check the website for exact dates.

Q: Does the HOA control the pests or animals along the pond?

A: Sawmill Creek has several ponds and a nice nature area on the west side. These naturally will attract all sorts of creatures - mice, snakes, turtles, squirrels, raccoons, skunks, coyotes and geese to name just a few. It is beyond the HOA's capacity to try and control this. If you are having problems with these on your property it is your responsibility to manage these. Please use humane and lawful ways when doing so.
